The lady behind TheEclecticElement is Kayla, a crafty mid-western girl with a tightly  knit family.  She is from a small town in northern Illinois with dreams of a change of scenery.

    Kayla has always bee a crafty girl thanks to her mother’s ealy influence.  She started making jewelry about 5 or 6 years ago.  Kayla suffers from chronic Lyme Disease and say that her craft is very therapeutic.  It helps her cope with her sickness and captures little bit of her that she shares with the rest of us.

Kayla is just 20 years old  and still lives with her parents.  Her sister is away at school but comes home every weekend.  Another big part of their family is a spoiled dog named Jake which Kayla has nicknamed “Booger”.  With a great support system and so many years ahead of her, I am sure we will see much more from Kayla.
