This week has been crazy busy. I have wanted to paint, or work on some more of my garlands—–
But, it was time to plant, and plant and plant.. I am so not done but I love having our own garden to harvest from.
I did make a wreath. I have wanted one for a while and couldn’t decide on a style. This one may not have been what I REALLY wanted but I did have all of the pieces on hand.
I started with a wreath form. Mine was a straw one but I suggest a foam one because it is less messy.
-yarn of your choice, I used purple and gray
-felt for flowers
I made my flowers first. Cut circles out of your felt, then keep cutting into them around in s spiral. I think the messier the better. The one pictured is the size of a CD but I made smaller and larger ones also.
Use a little fabric glue to stick them together as you wrap them around themselves. Leave those to dry.
Then take your yarn and start wrapping.. You can use as many colors as you like. When I switched colors I just cut the one I was using and tied it to the start of the next one.
When I was finally done, I used hot glue to stick my flowers on.
I also painted a chair
